How To Make Oats Upma?
For making this easy South Indian recipe, heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan over moderate flame.
Fry the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and dal till mustard seeds start to splutter.
Add onions and saute till light golden brown.
Now add chillies and ginger and stir fry for 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the mixed vegetables and pour water. Bring to a boil.
Add oats and salt. Mix well and cover the pan with a lid. Simmer till the oats are done. Serve.
Serve with chutney of your choice.
