Young or old, girl or boy everybody loves mango. Ripe Mango, sour Mango, Juicy Mango, Mangoes of all shapes and sizes has a fandom of its own. While most of us relish the juicy mango, we hardly give a fig about the health benefits of Mango. Surprisingly, Mango comes loaded with numerous health benefits.
Vitamin C is rich in it. Fiber (fiber) is high. There is also water. There are many minerals. Well, it also aids in good digestion.
But howsoever we choose this luscious, delicious fruit, Some of the mangoes tend to turn out sour. Neither can we eat it nor can we bring ourselves to throw it out (after all we PAID for it!). What to do with such sour mangoes?
Did you know Mango can be used for enhancing our Beauty? YES!! I was surprised when I first read about it. Sour Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C, AHA and possess strong astringent properties which makes it ideal for skin care.
Benefits of Sour Mango:
Helps in reducing Body Odor
Using hairy seed as a scrubber while taking bath helps in curing several skin problems. It also reduces sweating smell issue.
To remove dark circles around the neck
Apply little salt on the mango seed and gently massage them around your neck for few minutes Regular usage of this technique will lighten the discoloration around the neck.
Soften the rough skin on your elbows and knees
Take few spoons of shredded sour mango skin, mix it with pure butter. Apply it on elbows and knees. Leave for some time. This mix will remove the dark spots and will soften the skin too.
To remove Dandruff & for Soft, shiny hair
Boil the sour mango. Mash it into pulp. Add Amla powder and soapnut (Shikakai) powder. Apply it to the root of the hair.
Leave it for 15 minutes.
Wash the hair pack in lukewarm water.
Get volume and bounce on limp hair
Mix Sour mango juice with multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth) and curd.
Leave for sometime.
Wash your hair as usual.
